Ahh 2011 you little rascal you!
Well it's nearly over now and it's been a pretty eventful one from my point of view. This blog bears testament to that fact; from self indulgent heartbreak, vivid recollections of lovers past, detailed documentations of lovers new through to it's current state of dereliction – I've self contemplated and given myself over enough (here and in my day to day) to have arrived full circle back to being what I was: self sufficient and content.
Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read, to those who have commented and especially to those who've felt intrigued enough to engage me in conversation – particularly the mysterious girl who apparently knows me and has met me before, proving that it is a small if somewhat disconcerting world.
I hope you've all had a great Xmas, you've not put on too much weight, your families haven't indulged in petty squabbles and you're looking to 2012 with a smile on your face; and if you're not, at the risk of sounding a little self-helpy please don't stress too much. If I've learnt anything in my years it's that obstacles are just temporary, they're there to learn from and to be looked back on with a wry smile. An easy life is one not lived to it's fullest range so be thankful that you're living and learning. Time is a healer, but only if you use it well.
