I'm sat bored at work - facebook has been refreshed numerous times in the past ten minutes with no new messages, so I'll have a little ramble here...
Today I am savagely hungover. I went to a VICE party last night (which will tell some of you what sort of a night it was I'm sure) I got to bed by about 2am though so not too bad, but I was mainlining gin and vodka from the free bar like it was going out of fashion.
VICE were throwing a party for Lacoste so it was a particularly attractive crowd. I go to less of these sort of parties than I used to, but when I do I keep on bumping into Jameela Jamil off the telly. We don't know each other at all, but we now act like we kind of do. More than a nod of acknowledgement, but not familiar enough to kiss on the cheek, we greet each other with just a "Hey, how you doing?". I first met her at another fashion party in Dalston Superstore, I don't watch TV much and never T4 so at the time I she was just a random girl at a party. I was stood at the bar trying to get served and noticed I was standing next to a really hot girl. I rarely start chatting up a girl at a bar, but I initiated conversation with her. I think it was probably refreshing for her that I had absolutely no idea who she was and talked to her on that level. Someone like her probably either gets mindless attention from people who want to say hi simply because she's famous, or a lot of people respectfully paying her no attention beyond staring for too long. We talked for about 5-10 minutes about nothing in particular and then pleasantries whenever we saw each other for the rest of the night.
I find it amusing how we've somehow got into this social dance now. Total strangers, and me not making any more moves to talk because I don't want to be another guy who feels that just because she's on TV I should intrude on her night. But then maybe I should. Thinking about it she's probably paid to make an appearance, she doesn't seem to be with friends when I do see her. You often hear how guys don't approach really good looking/famous women. Maybe I should be that guy!
Anyway, I have no dates this weekend which is a shame as I am particularly horny at the moment, with my hangover hangover dousing the flames of arousal. I came last night, and again this morning when I woke up. What I'd give for a slow oily handjob right now.
Actually I'll be available to interview any applicants all weekend, please send a covering letter together with a picture and your sexual CV if you're interested in the position. I admit I don't pay well but there are numerous perks that come with the role. Especially if you take pride in your work.
Yours unremarkably,
x
You write about sex the way that I think I am having it...interesting. I really enjoy checking in and reading what you write here. It might sound strange, but your writing/story/life actually inspires me.Hmm. You remind me to keep striving for connections and for enjoying the only thing we really have in life-what we create.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Your message inspired me to start writing a post, but then I realised it was starting to come off as cod-anthropology so I'll simply reply here. I find it rewarding and interesting that what I write seems to connect with people. I guess it's that I'm saying what goes unsaid, things that explores some societal taboos, ones that are powerfully elemental and resonate in all of us.
ReplyDeleteWhat you write makes me think that you're similar to me of course, and I like knowing that. I guess from what you're say, reading my exploits validates and reinforces your outlook too, and as a result my own too maybe. We're sexual beings by nature, we shouldn't have to suppress it by virtue of old religious control systems that no longer make so much sense. Whilst I'm not sure that monogamy is actually natural considering what we are and where we've come from, it is something I believe in strongly.
But our right to promiscuity and hedonistic indulgence before we find someone to be monogamous with should be something we get to enjoy with less guilt too.
I have written this blog anonymously because whilst not ashamed, it's not something you open up this much to people you know. I see no wrong in how I choose to live my life as a single person. We're all pretty much the same at heart, just some of us are more sexual than others.
I hope what I write makes others feel that it's 'ok' to feel like this if they're unsure, or to give a positive insight into how at least this man views sex and his view on the world.
Anyway, enough stream of consciousness, strive on with your endeavours anonymous reader, may they bring you smiles, excitement, mind numbingly powerful orgasms and emotional intimacy to the ones you share them with.
Thank you xx
Hello,
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to reply. I left my little message here thinking you would just delete it-I am touched that you wrote back. Could I ask how you moved on from hurting to having such wonderful-sounding sex? I'm in awe. I just tried tonight to go for the casual sex thing (again) and it didn't work...which is unlike me. I think I am getting picky? However,I think that the root of issue is that my heart is still with another. I strong wind makes me want to cry. I actually heard a baby sobbing tonight as I was walking home and I thought,'Oh, that's my inner soul'-that's how I feel. Pathetic. Hmm. I think some good oral sex could sort me out....I can't believe I shaved my legs and... for tonight and nothing happened. Random Wednesday night sex can be so nice...Oh, well. Now, I need another date! Good luck to you, Mr. Unremarkable. I think you are pretty remarkable though. Thanks again.
I've been replying to people messaging me who are not so kind, so of course I'd write back, I'd not take anyone who had taken the time to read this for granted.
ReplyDeleteSend me an email sometime and I'll reply properly
